Pergola Porch Swing
I had this hankering for a pergola. We have a granite set of stairs that goes to a "porch to no where". Oringinally this had been an entrance into the kitchen of our home. I change the configuration and felt this would be a perfect place to watch the world go by............ I love redwood and cedar. The pergola cross beams are redwood, the columns are tapered and covered with hand cut cedar shingles. As you can see, after a long hot day of yard work, the swing is a refuge!

Counter Top in Mahogany
When my client said she wanted a mahogany counter top, I was up for the challenge of creating something both functional and beautiful.
I selected eight quarter solid Honduras mahogany. We biscuit and glued together three large pieces. Then it was just the simple and painstaking task of sanding and coating the surface with a water resistant finish.
As you can see, the finished product is indeed beautiful!!
